Coffee shops have long been meeting places to get careers started and conversations flowing. But these two Capital Region women are taking that concept to another level.

Our December breakfast will focus on two entrepreneurs in the coffee industry who have built their businesses on being more inclusive of women and helping them in their pursuits.  

 Leslie Swedish, a self-proclaimed “Jill of all trades,” founded and owns Moxxi Coffee, and its Moxxi Women’s Foundation, which offers grants and education for Capital Region women in various fields and professions. Honesta Coffee works directly with women farmers and roasters from Brazil; the local importer is co-owned by Erin Maciel, one of the four female co-owners who will round out our mini panel.  

Coffee and breakfast snacks will be served. Space is limited.
