[email protected] Summit 2021: The future of work
Wednesday, June 16, 2021 to Thursday, June 17, 2021
Category: Summit
The fifth annual [email protected] Summit takes place virtually from 4 to 6 p.m. June 16-17. The event tackles the changing workplace for women as we emerge from a year that accelerated existing trends and upended expectations at an unprecedented pace. · The 2020 recession – sometimes dubbed the she-session – poses new challenges for women who lost their jobs or saw their progress slow. How do we recover from those setbacks? · Issues of diversity, equity and inclusion made headlines in 2020 as companies voiced commitments to hire, listen and promote differently. How can we honor those commitments in our own workplaces? · For many of us, the workplace moved from the office to the spare bedroom. Is Work From Home a done deal for the future? And where does that leave essential workers – disproportionately women -- who still face risk in more public arenas? Join [email protected] for a two-part interactive virtual Summit where you’ll hear from women facing these issues every day. You’ll also participate in breakout sessions where you’ll exchange views with the [email protected] community as we share our experiences in this changing landscape. Speakers will be announced shortly. Presenting sponsor for the [email protected] Summit is Bank of America. The premier sponsor is The College of Saint Rose. Tickets are $20 in advance and $35 after June 2. The event will be conducted on Zoom. Watch for meeting details a day or two, in advance of the event via email.
